Graphic Web Designers anywhere in North America
The position below is for an experienced graphic web designer, but we also seek a jr. graphic web designer who wants to build up his/her portfolio.

This is not a commissioned partnership as is the opportunity below, but a way to get what you need by building up your portfolio so you get that full time job you want, while I get what I need which is a little design help on some smaller sites.
You will be acredited at the bottom of any site you design so that is free advertising right there considering I do get a fair amount of hits every day.

A short note
We prefer someone who lives in Toronto, Ontario or the surrounding areas, but we will consider graphic web designers who lives anywhere in North America. For people outside Toronto & especially outside North America, I won't consider you unless you are willing to call me on the phone at least once per week.
We feel that there is a huge difference between a graphic web designer & a web designer.
We are seeking a graphic web designer because we feel that person will have the artistic skill to develop a graphically enhanced web site, not just a digital flash type web site that has no warmth, style, imagination & takes forever to load.

This small company is seeking an independent graphic web designer to work with us on several projects some of which are for adults only & will have "adult only" content, but are not porn sites. So the bottom line is, you have to be very open minded across the board otherwise you will have problems working with these projects & our personalities.
No investment is required, just your time, skillset & your willingness to build up the company.
We want someone with the following mindset
an entrepreneurial spirit & mindset, yet can work with a team.
you have enough time to spend on each project even if this is part time.
although this is part time, this is an ongoing partnership (no capital required) position that pays commissions based on what the site pulls in. You will also be paid per project for any additional contracts the company looks after for each of our already existing clients, so there is more then one way to make money here. There are already a couple of projects that need to be developed & we haven't even started yet. This definitely could turn into a full time position with tons of growth potential.

To recap, this is a commission based independent contractor's position similar to a partnership. We will be developing e-commerce sites which is why we are seeking a partner & not hiring an employee or contractor.
We ask that you know or have the following
A diploma or degree in graphic web design or, was born with graphic design talent.
Some business experience would be a bonus, but not necessary.
Experience in designing web sites which includes the layout, organization of where menus & graphics should go, blending graphics, colour scheme based on target market etc.
We also need someone who knows html & hopefully one or all of the following... Java and/or Javascript, dhtml and flash.
If your experience consists only of knowing a graphics program, we are not interested.
Minimum of 1-2 years graphic web design experience in some or all of the following...
Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, QuarkXpress, 3D Studio Max, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Corel Draw, Premiere, IPIX, MGI Photovista & DeBabelizer
Working experience with designing high resolution & fast loading graphics.
Just to be clear, all of your files that you work on for the company will be considered the property of the company.
You must have a portfolio of work you have designed yourself.
Interview process
After you are properly screened via e-mail & you sign a non disclosure agreement, the business plan will be carefully explained to you by phone so you can make an educated decision as to whether you are interested in reading more.
For those of you who are unaware of how business is done, no businessperson ever divulges a brand new business concept to potential partners before a non comp/disclosure (NDA) is signed.
If we decide we are going to work together, then a full working contract will be signed at a later date.
If you are not sure if this will conflict with what you are already doing, then just ask me.
Once you have made a decision about whether you want to forge ahead to learn more, you will be provided with files to review which will help you to make your final decision as to whether this opportunity is for you.
Some of the Job Requirements
You set your own hours working from your home on your own equipment with your own software & you will be required to get the job done by the deadline. We will be asking to see 3 different prototypes before we decide on a final design concept.
Your responsibilities are to design the layout, template, e-mails, newsletters, flash, colours etc.
Another opportunity is if you can upload your template with html etc. & you have experience as a webmaster.
New ideas are always welcome by any person on the team.
The other partners are responsible for their job descriptions & we are not looking for someone who is going to interfere with that.
