CM Plex:
A new product for arthritis from Rexall

From an ortheopedic surgeon

1.    This is a natural anti-inflammatory, which reduces pain and stiffness.
2.    It stimulates production of the normal lubricating fluid (synovial fluid) which results in less friction in the joints.
3.    It should be used along with Osteo Essentials which helps to rebuild cartilage.

From Dr. Rick Deitch: Rexall

We ran a 60 clinical analysis of CM Plex with 86 individuals suffering from Osteo & Rheumatoid arthritis. Within 30 days we had a 100% success rate. All 86 patients saw some clinical improvement in terms of reduced swelling, less inflammation and less pain.

When our company recently launched C.M. Plex, experts said we had a special formulation that could improve the lives of the thousands of people suffering with arthritis -- the number one cause for movement limitation and disability. Now, we're beginning to see and hear about the personal experiences of those who've tried the product, and the results are amazing!

For those unfamiliar with C.M. Plex, it is a unique product that effectively provides relief for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis by helping the body generate joint fluid with a natural compound called cetyl myristoleate -- without side effects. This nutrient also helps reduce inflammation and restore mobility.

From: Dr. Bill Pierce, an update on C.M. Plex. I've been using it in my practice now for about a week and a half. I've canceled my first surgery based on this product.

On Friday, a patient came in whom I'd been working conservatively with for probably six month for tarsal tunnel. We had positive nerve conduction studies, EMGs and had tried everything from injections to immobilizations including nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories. Nothing was working, so she was scheduled for surgery. I walked into the room and asked how she was doing. She said she was doing better. I thought maybe we'd just cancel the surgery but had forgotten that I had put her on C.M. Plex. She said, "No, my foot is doing better, the pain -- the shooting pain into the foot -- is doing much better. I'm back in my shoes." I was astounded and didn't know what to say. So, we canceled the surgery.

This product has been fantastic thus far!

I had another patient who had been on the product just a week. The patient is a very severe psoriatic arthritis patient. His skin is just terrible. After just a week, he is starting to respond to the C.M. Plex.

I feel this product will propel this company into significant momentum.

Dr. John Kemp in Denver, Colorado. As a practicing orthopedic surgeon, I have had the opportunity to review the information and some of the data that's come out on the new C.M. Plex. And let me tell you, there are a couple of things I am very excited about in terms of what this product does by itself but also what it can do in combination.

Basically, the C.M. Plex does two things. There are some natural anti-inflammatory properties that this has, and that helps reduce inflammation in the joints. The inflammation is what causes pain, so it does help in pain relief and also by reducing inflammation, it also helps in stiffness and allows the joint to move a little bit better.

But additionally and most importantly, what this product does is it helps stimulate the production of the normal lubricating fluid inside the joint. This is called the synovial fluid, and this is basically like the oil that's inside the joint. It allows the joint to move. By enhancing the production of that fluid, it allows arthritic surfaces to move against one another with less friction.

Now, when you combine this with Unicity's glucosamine AJF, I think you have a very dynamic combination.

Glucosamine helps rebuild the cartilage lining of the joint, that's called the articular cartilage. The wearing away of that cartilage surface is what arthritis is. So when you have one product that helps rebuild the cartilage and another product that helps lubricate the joint, I think you have a very dynamic combination.

Now any of these can obviously be used as a standalone product, but in folks with more significant arthritis, I think the combination of the two opens up very many exciting possibilities. So I'm very excited about this product and am looking forward to using it, and we'll see what it can do.

Dr. Lew Brady, a board certified orthopedic surgeon with an active practice in Orlando, Florida.

A few months ago, I was asked by RSI to evaluate C.M. Plex. After I had been apprised of the results of a recently conducted clinical randomised study, I agreed to do a study on four patients. I have personally contended with my own case of osteoarthritis, which has affected my hands and back for many years. During that time, I have probably taken at one time or another, beginning with aspirin and butazolidine many years ago, practically all of the nonsteroidal and anti-inflammatory drugs on the market.

I therefore selected myself as the first patient to prescribe this product to after which I gave samples of the drug to three other patients all of them had the same degree of moderately severe osteoarthritis. In starting to use C.M. Plex, I abruptly stopped taking Celebrex, and started taking the C.M. Plex. During the first week, I noticed a slight flare of my arthritic symptoms in my hand followed by almost complete relief of my arthritic symptoms for the remainder of the one-month trial period.

I was pleased to find that there were no side effects from this medication. After my one-month supply was finished, I resumed my usual nonsteroidal, anti-inflammatory medication.

The three patients I gave the medication to last summer reported similar results to mine as well as no side effects.

Similar results to other studies have been reported in patients suffering from the worst form of arthritis, namely rheumatoid arthritis.

Recently, I experienced a very severe flair of my arthritis symptoms that was not responding to any of the prescribed nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that I had relied on in the past. I was unable to stand up straight, had severe pain in both my hands.

My wife Marilyn and I ordered a supply of the C.M. Plex, as soon as it was available. Within a week of starting to take C.M. Plex, I have become essentially asymptomatic for the first time in many months. And a week after starting C.M. Plex, I was able to perform two major hip surgeries with no pain in either my back or hands.

This is obviously an anecdotal report; however, had I used any of the other prescription, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on the market for a similar period of time, I would have been impressed with the apparent efficacy of the drug.

My own recent, personal experience has influenced me to feel confident in recommending this product to my patients as the first medication to use in the treatment of arthritis.

Based on the clinical study I have mentioned and my own personal observations, I believe C.M. Plex offers another product with an apparent action similar to that of glucosamine that can substitute for and possibly replace nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in a significant portion of our patient population.

Let me leave you with this thought for the day. Wellness is a journey, not a destination.
